Getting to know the Samsung Galaxy Gear S2 Better!

In this age of connectivity, we are all looking for faster, smarter, and more efficient means of staying
connected on the go. It’s not just about communicating anymore; it’s about being constantly
updated and in touch. Given the need of the hour, if you ask me, smart watches are a must have!
And if you haven’t tried one already, my recommendation is that you give the Samsung Galaxy Gear
S2 a go.

A couple of days ago, I’d talked about how I had started using the Gear S2, and since then, my Gear
S2 has spoilt me silly! Email, text messages, reminders, social media notifications, and even
screening calls – all I have to do is check my wrist for it. I’m loving this experience.
It syncs flawlessly with your android phone (it’s compatible with all android phones, android version
4.4 and higher), and has a super friendly user interface. The most addictive feature is the rotating
bezel. It makes navigating through the apps and selecting options very easy.

Now that I’ve been using the Gear S2 for a sometime, here are some interesting features that I
absolutely love.
The first is changing watch faces. Let’s face it, how amazing is it that you can match the colour of
your watch to your belt, or pair it with your nail paint, or lipstick, or accessories. As a fashion
blogger, this is one of the features that I love the most on the Gear S2.

Second, has to be the Caffeine vs Water Intake monitor.  We all tend to go overboard sometimes –
especially with coffee on a hard day at work. I think this is an amazing way to keep tabs not just on
your caffeine intake, but also on how well you stay hydrated during the day.

And the third one is the calorie counter. The Obino app is easily the best. Why? Because, unlike most other calorie trackers, this one can track the calorie count of Indian food dishes, too. What’s not to

I’m sure you can tell, I can’t leave home with my Gear S2 anymore.
Stay tuned for my next blog post where I’m styling the Gear S2 with various outfits.

Happy Birthday #Oxolloxo

If you happen to follow me on Snapchat & Instagram you all must be knowing what i up to these days. A week back, my return trip from Dubai had a lil detour. As I touched Mumbai, I flew to Delhi to attend Oxolloxo's 2nd year anniversary celebration.

I was super excited to visit Delhi and was really looking forward to the event. The event took place at Summerhouse Cafe in Hauz khas. The environment there was very chilled out and I got to meet a couple of Delhi bloggers and one of them was Akanksha Redhu who made it comfortable! It was a fun set up and we had to style our designated models. I decided to go with two looks. One was a denim on denim look and made her don a pair of printed socks which added a bit of funk. The second look was totally a boho chic look. Decided to go with printed palazzo and a black top with it to keep it simple.

Oxolloxo showcased their spring/summer collection which s full of colours, prints and their fabric is very comfortable too. I actually had quite a lot of favourites. Giving you guys a glimpse of their collection here. Also its their birthday today as they turn 2 :D #HappyBirthdayOxolloxo
And I wish them more success and power. You can find them on FacebookTwitter & Instagram.

I just flew for few hours but had a blast at the event as there was a lot of clicking selfies, dancing around, styling the models and of course the yummy food there. I was a happy to be a part of their celebration! Enjoy the pictures :D

Reliance Trends at LFW

Hello there!

I got back from my vacation and directly headed to Lakme Fashion Week as I had already missed 3 days. But I sure made up for it on the 4th and 5th day. There was a lot of blogger interaction and fun shoots were all over the place! More pictures and boomerangs (latest obsession) will soon be on Instagram, so do look out for those.

On the last day, I caught up on a few shows and surely didn't want to miss out Rahul Mishra's show for Reliance Trends. I even picked an outfit from Reliance Trends for that day, I went for a laid back boho look and spruced it up with a pair of black boots.

The show was put together really well and Ileana D'cruz was stunning as she closed the show for them. The collection was very peppy and I was looking forward to even styling it. Have shared a few pictures of the runway and what I wore from the #RelianceTrends SS'16 collection. The two days were an absolute blast and looking forward to the next season of #LFW.

See you soon,

Riya Jain.

Strap On - Samsung Gear S2

In a time when technology has taken such a leap, it's time to strap on! Quite literally! Samsung introduced the Samsung Gear S2 recently, and it's got me hooked!

Usually shying off from even the most conventionally chic watches, I've been donning the classic
edition of the Gear S2 with changeable straps for a while now. I've worn it to my outings, events, the
few times I've actually gone to the gym, and everywhere in between.

It connects easily to any Android Smartphone running on Android 4.4 or higher, with 1.5 GB RAM. All you've got to do is download the Samsung Gear app from the Play Store and you're good to go!

It is very handy as one can receive all notifications and alerts, reply to messages and check emails,
and even access all social media platforms. Works perfectly for me and people with similar work. It is
a great accessory, is very efficient and totally worth it for all the specifications it offers. Stay tuned
for more coming up on how I’ve been styling this device, how it’s been helping me do more and all
the cool apps and features I love.
