Monochrome Something: Lavie 3.0

Hello cuties,

Firstly sorry for the overdose, but I share my last look of the Lavie along with one of my favourite monochrome outfits. Something that is short and stands out, totally me!

I've always worked my way around monochrome and the trend is go-to for the longest time. Jail prints had a phase where I picked this dress. It is that ultimate monochrome piece for me. It stands out so flawlessly. Through blogging I figured that stripes actually help your appearance and it should be worn accordingly to body types. They say that vertical stripes adds length to your height which i obsessively need and horizontal stripes work in your favour if you're skinny. It enhances your body to make it look broader than it is. Who ever thought there'd be delusion clothing? And we are thankful for it!

Stripes on stripes is something that I've been wanting to do for a long time and should eventually make it to the blog too. Talking about pair ups, monochrome clothing do wonders with bright coloured bags and accessories. It balances the outfit to fit any occasion. I've tried neon colours with monochrome and it nails it like no other. This bag has been versatile to tag along and is my new addition to the mustard fever.

Lavie has always been a head turner with their Bags and the new collection totally calls out for a shopping spree. It assures a reliable, sturdy and fashionable buy! I'm coming soon with a new blog post. Until then, do tell me which was your favourite look from the last 3 posts.

Much love,
Riya Jain

Summer Ready With Lavie 2.0

Crop Top and Shorts- Redress,
Cuff and Midi Rings- Love Shona's Collection,
Gladiators- Hill Road, Bag- Lavie, Glares- Aldo

Hello,

Well I am back! Haha.. You guys must be wondering what am I upto. Anyway, I am sharing my 2nd look with the same Mustard yellow Lavie bag. I love how versatile it is and a mustard anything just can't go wrong.

If any of you missed my last post click here, where I rant about how I go with comfortable clothing preferably short clothes during summers. Some of you guys don't wear shorts clothes and that's perfectly fine as it is every individual's choice. I have got many emails and DMS saying we don't look good or don't like wearing so please suggest something else. And I've always told them go with whatever they're comfortable with cause that instantaneously adds confidence to the whole look, which nails the outfit ultimately. Wearing shorts and being conscious the whole time is pointless.

This outfit is something that I'd wear on everyday basis. Crop tops are a trend since forever and that ain't going anywhere. Shorts and a crop top is my go-to this summer. And as it gets too casual otherwise, I tag gladiators for a more rad evening. Also, they never fail. Never. I'm creeping up soon.

Much love,
Riya Jain

Hello people

Am I back too fast? Well I have a lot of posts for you guys this month and I will posting it really quickly.

Who doesn't love florals?  I am a sucker for florals and I like them in any form of clothing. Be it tops, crops, palazzos, skirts, dress, hair accessories, I love them all.

Summers are here and its all about balancing the want to wear bright colours and the need to don the subtle. I prefer wearing short clothes cause its way too hot to be wearing jeans and stay under the sun. I'm all about loose pants, shorts, maxis skirts. Comfort is of utmost importance :)

In this post, I went with these comfortable khakhi trousers and the sea-green floral crop top to go with my mustard Lavie yellow bag. The bag was my pop of colour and really a summer must! I love the colour pair up. Your thoughts?

Much Love,
Riya

Layering This Summer : Capes 2.0

So, we meet again!

Sharing the 2nd look with my StyleAisle cape. I decided to go with something short and casual. I've been crushing on long white kurti- tops from a while now and I love how they pair up everything so well. I added my favourite silver jewellery with it. I wore acid wash denim ripped shorts with it. Though you can't see much of it in the pictures.

Also, tassles and fringes are really in and is something I'm tagging as and when possible (bag in the first post and the flats in these). Do follow StyleAisle for more updates and I'm all ears about new ways to style the cape.
And sorry for bombarding y'all with so many pictures :p

Layering this Summer : Capes 1.0

Holla people,

Capes are something I've generously used from the last couple of months and they have been the constant layering that I resort to. Usually jackets and shrugs a go-to for bearing the cold but what appeals to me is layering. I'd layer all around the year only if the heat is Bombay wasn't so bizzare.

Obviously, that makes capes my favourites that I carry forward from last season. This cape from StyleAisle is so summery and bright which made it an instant must have. Also, the material is so thin and it can be worn with anything and anytime and you don't have to worry that adding a layer will add to the heat. I own a couple of them and they sure add a statement. I love the whole cape top vibe too. Capes and Cape tops are something I swear by for important events.

So, for the 1st look I decided to style the cape with my flared palazzos pants which look more like a maxi skirt. They are oh-so comfortable and I totally loved how the cape took its structure. I teamed it with a simple black crop and added a mint chain on my neck. This look is something I relate for a for a jam packed day. This serves well through meetings, events, and dinners. Capes go with almost everything and adds the sassy element that I resort to.

All of these are old trends which are rotating and I believe nothing really goes out of fashion, you can make anything work by styling around it. I am going to hang on to this trend for a while is something you should definitely try. Also, do tell me how did you like this look while another look with the cape goes up by tonight
