Vastra: Brunch & Dinner Looks

Holaa peoplee,
In a mid week crises but more worried about what to wear for a brunch or a party for the upcoming weekend? I'm sorting you guys with two preppy looks from Vastra's collection.

Look 1

I decided to go with a cute lace crop top and grey coloured palazzo but in the pictures it is difficult to guess the shade because neither did the Sun play along nor did the camera. Though I love how both of it blended to give a subtle touch. Light on light shade usually is spot on and can do wonders if you ensemble well. If you guys have never tried this combination, y'all are surely missing out on something. Light colours are "supposed" to be for the day and I too prefer to wear them in the afternoon or early evenings. But I'd probably do a light coloured night look too! Anyway, I wore this look for a brunch couple of days back with friends. I teamed this up with a white handbag and my pink flats. I kept my accessories minimal, and wore my favourite sunglasses for the last bit! It served well for the sudden change of weather in Mumbai.

2nd look

Whenever weekend is around the corner don't we all get excited? The excitement turns into a big dilemma when you have to think of what to wear for a night out with friends. Every weekend I sulk that I have nothing to wear, during which black plays a saviour and it flawlessly works for the nights. So for this look, I decided to go with a black crop top, a cute floral print fluffy skirt and I teamed it up with heels and carried a structured black sling to go. I wanted to keep accessories minimal here too so just wore earrings and a studded screw bangle with it. Obviously one can junk up to suit the event. I'll always be a sucker for blacks even though I'm opening up to a lot of bold shades and prints now.

You could follow them on Instagram and Facebook. And you guys should definitely go and visit her exhibition as she has immense options in clothing and bags. There is something for everyone and trust me, they are all a steal.

Until next time,

Undone Winters

Skirt and Socks- Forever21, Crop Sweater- Redress.
Bagpack-HillRoad, Boots- Forever21,
Beanie- Accessories

Winters are fading and so is the reason to wear snuggly covers. We're already prepping up for summers but I had this look in the backlog which is going up now. I'm giving a jist of my favorites from this season. Starting with the Beaaaniiieeee! I've worn it in the first winter look too and in my other OOTD as well. It gives you the perfect winter vibe. I'm hoping to pick up more colors before the next winter. I completely loved this teal skater skirt, it is one of my favorite colors. I think skater dresses and skirts suits almost all body types and more often adds the cute element. I was in two minds if I should go for stockings or socks, but I wanted to do a high socks look. Though I tamed the thigh high to a length that I thought suited well. I went with my next favorite, cropped sweaterssss. They are your rescue in the cold when you don't want to layer, though I love layering too. I picked up this yum bagpack for a steal which I've tagged quite a lot this season. The last bit were these gorgeous boots I picked from forever 21. I've used every opportunity this season to wear boots and will be doing so for another month I guess. I'd love to know your favorites and what you thought of this look.

Five Way Valentine

Hello people,

Well the day of love is tomorrow and everybody is so excited to be dressy and look their best on this special day.
But realistically people can't always make time to go shopping for it.
So to overcome this problem, I have an amazing solution for you guys. Christmas shares something good with Valentines, the obsessive use of red. We wear our Christmas dress once cause they are so in your face and then its just hanging in the closet forever. We don't want to repeat statement dresses especially not in the same way with Instagram being around ( most girls think like that and I am one of them :p) . But this time I decided I would reuse my Christmas outfit and play around with it. I styled my outfit in 5 different ways:

Dress- FashionPotion, Clutch- Exhibition,

Look 1

CropTop-Shimmer, Clutch- MadishThesStyleBar

Look 2

Scarf-Lokhandwala Market, Sling- Snazzy

Look 3

Sweatshirt- Redress, Bag- Snazzy

Look 4

MaxiSkirt- Forever21, Bag- Options

Look 5

Dress- FashionPotion, Blazer- Shimmer
Glares- Colaba

You can always play around with your dresses and all it takes is a little layering to make it as good as new.
It is not restricted to prints or colours, i decided to go with this because the Christmas post couldn't go up.

And more about something exciting that has come my way. Well, I'm working with Lakme School of Style as a PR\Reporting Vlogger and my first video is up where I had to attend a store launch (AshHautecouture) and talk to celebrities though I am hardly there because I was really nervous and couldn't talk much as it was my first time.
You can like, share, and subscribe to Lakme School of Style to watch me there
And Happy Valentines day lovelies, this is all for now, I hope you will try this or already do. Hoping to see your looks on Instagram.

I love you to bits,
