Voustyle 1.0: Slip Into Leggings

Leggings are my biggest saviour whenever I am too lazy to deck up. They are so comfortable and can be easily worn for any outings. One can never go wrong with them and they are always the best last minute option if I cant think of anything. When I came across the online brand Voustyle, the best thing I liked about it is that they had various prints, and all of them were so colorful. Voustyle has sizes from small to large and they fit like a dream and they are available on Flipkart, Ebay, Rediff, Snapdeal and Paytm. And guess what? If you are not a fan of online shopping like me (though I am becoming now :p) then its also available in Options store in Mumbai.

Look 1

This colourful tribal print is so pretty and can be worn anytime of the day.
I teamed it up with mustard crop and added a black cape and heels and it can easily be worn for late nights parties. Tribal print is something I've always adored and the fitting of the leggings is just perfect.

Look 2

Well, let me tell you guys, I'm wearing a white long one side silt dress which I turned into a cape top by just adding another slit. Plain white with printed leggings can never go wrong and I loved the way the whole look turned out. I decided to carry a neon pink sling and it can be worn for brunch, movies etc

Look 3

Voustyle has various prints but I was fixated on the tribal prints. The bright blue spoke for itself so I really didn't want to play around much. I decided to wear an off white crop top and teamed wedges with it. The ensemble seemed balanced and turned out right.

Oxidised Fever

CropTop- Forever21, Pants- Forever New,
Accessories- Replay (Lokhandwala Market), Bag- Bangkok

Happy Sunday you all!

One can manage to wear a particular outfit in a number of ways, but jewellery is something that gets noticed more prominently. And with Instagram being the constant update of what we wear, it gets a little difficult to do the same with statement pieces. So recently I rediscovered oxidised jewellery. People do opt for them during the festivities, but they've managed to be a part of my wardrobe quiet effortlessly. More of which will be seen in my #OOTD pictures too. I more or less developed a fetish for it from my Dylanlex neck piece. You guys may not be a fan of it but when you try them on, it looks oh so pretty. I like how these pieces give a boho vibe to the outfit.

I built this look just around the accessories. I loved these cuffs too. It is a good choice when you want to give the golds a miss. I teamed my Forever New monochrome loose bottoms and added some colour with this cute neon short crop top from forever 21. The slouch pants are obviously comfortable and like the dhoti style. Also, they pair perfectly with shorter crops(Well, you get my point!).

Everyone knows the balance of the slouch and perfect fit. The top or bottom are preferred to be either of it. And these brallete sized crops suit all loose pants, palazzos and even jeans. It is a saviour for people who want to highlight their perfect lower bust and not the waistline. This whole look was somewhat an experiment for me which has now turned into a preference. Also, I'd pick rusted oxidised pieces over the shiny ones to blend better with outfits.

Also, I hope you guys also had an amazing weekend like me. If you happen to follow me on Instagram, I attended the Summer/Spring 2015 Preview of the new collection from Only India and Vero Moda. And trust me, their collection is refreshing and so much fun. A mix of pastels, sports luxe, monochromes, denims and a lot more. The collection will soon hit the stores so stay tuned.

Meanwhile, don't forget to tell me how did you like my pair up with oxidised accessories, which you should totally give a try! More posts lined up, lovelies. Until then.

Well it is a little late to shout out a Happy New Year but I still wish you guys all the happiness and success for this year! 2014 was a splendid year and I can’t thank you people enough for supporting me. Whatever I am today is just because of your feedback, love, and motivation.
This year will feature my version of the varied trends, hesitant buys, new statements and some carried forward favourites! For me styling is making something passé stand out. Blogging has made me try so many different things, but I've always tried to adapt a trend to my liking and not lose my sense of style to join the lot.

This post has a pair up of nude and an onion hued purple, that are among the colours I would pick when going shopping. The slit skirt is something I had completely forgot about. I had picked this up during my birthday haul but never really got a chance to wear it. My Instagram speaks for the mad love I have for the maxi length so this one didn’t need much thought. The fitting of the skirt was flattering and it went well with the top. I ditched my crops and went with this sheer top instead.

The nude generally blends well and sober downs any outfit in a subtle way. I found the gold detailing on the nude really pretty and thought of keeping this look on the girlier side. My last post had glitz-beaded leggings, and I have been a fan of such detailed clothing as it pretty much speaks for itself. I still opted for statement earrings and a hand harness, which seemed to complete the look.
This would definitely be something I would fashion for a day look. It is subtle and strong, all at once which is something I swear by when getting dressed! I hope you people liked the post. Moreover, I’d love to hear what you have to say about this look. Until next time.
